Join Us in the Fight to End Hunger!
Hunger Network is a small, grassroots nonprofit organization, where we rely solely on the help of our dedicated volunteers to fulfill our vision that ‘No one goes hungry. No food goes to waste’. With our Food Rescue program operating 7 days/week, our MidTown Market Pantry open 10 days/month, and our Ambassadors participating in over 25 events each year, we offer a wide array of volunteer opportunities and experiences for individuals and groups of all ages to make a positive impact in our communities.
Volunteer Eligibility
We welcome volunteers of all ages.
• Food Rescue has no age restrictions, so children are welcome. We encourage families and friends to rescue together, but recommend limiting numbers to no more than 3 people per rescue.
• MidTown Market, most Ambassador events and family-friendly fundraisers provide opportunities for children 10 and older to volunteer with a parent/guardian.
We are happy to work with anyone needing to complete community service hours whether through school or court ordered. Please contact the Volunteer & Community Engagement Director prior to starting to ensure hours are properly documented.
Volunteer Opportunities and Resources
Food Rescue
Join over 200 Food Rescus Heroes and help us alleviate hunger and reduce food waste in the Greater Cleveland Area! Volunteer Opportunities are available 7 days/week and only take about an hour to complete.
MidTown Market
Join the volunteer team at MidTown Market Food Pantry and help those facing food insecurity in Cleveland. We have opportunities available working directly with our customers during pantry hours.
Hunger Relief
Help us get food to those who need it! We partner with several pantries in Cuyahoga County who are in need of volunteers to help with food distributions and delivery days.
