Hunger Network Ambassadors provides volunteer opportunities throughout the year to allow existing volunteers to showcase their skills while broadening their engagement. Potential opportunities include tabling at community and networking events, speaking engagements, helping with food pantries, as well as more behind the scene roles involving volunteer, donor and recipient recruitment. Inclement Weather Policy: Throughout the year, MidTown Market is subject to close due to inclement weather. When the pantry is closed, volunteer shifts for the day will also be cancelled. Volunteers will be contacted as early as possible with this information. If in doubt or if the weather in your area is unsafe, please call the Hunger Network office at 216-619-8155 as early as possible to inquire about closures and cancel your shift if necessary. Volunteer safety is of utmost importance to us!
We offer volunteer opportunities for groups of all kinds, including corporate teams, community organizations, and schools. Groups of up to 15 volunteers - ages 10 and up - can support our MidTown Market. We also offer event-based opportunities suitable for a large variety of group sizes and age ranges.
